Forbidden Orchestra:
Background Projections

My friend Emma Hjelm and I created background projections for the Forbidden Orchestra; a project initiated by Vara Konserthus. The all-female band all played on instruments that currently or historically have been forbidden to use by women. We created colorful, yet simplistic animations that shouldn’t compete with the band, but complement the music.
